Interesting.  It looks to me like a Belgian variation of  Stevens tip up.  They added double set triggers (I would bet they are a 2 lever, simple double set).  I noticed they used a nub in front of the breach to limit how far the barrel opens.  Stevens used the extractor, which was fragile.  This rifle turned the extractor into just a manual pull, kind of like the 1st Ballard's.  IMHO, it was built to be an inexpensive hunting rifle in the most common caliber.
