F/S My brother wants to sell the musket, with bayonet, shown in the attached pictures.  The rifle is in fantastically good shape for its age and is thought to be capable of firing.  I have more pictures, and could take more, but file size on this venue is a limiting factor.  My brother is not computer savvy so I offered to post this for him.  Local muzzle loader knowledgeable people said it could be worth a lot.  My brother could use the cash.  Please let me know if you would be interested in making an offer or estimating value.  How about $3,000?

Can you post some better pictures of the lock, muzzle, butt and buttplate?

Hi,

I would like to see a closeup of the lockplate, of the trigger guard underneath, and of the butt and butt tang that comes up over the rear of the stock.

You can also email them to me at rts619@uscinevision.com

Thanks,
Michael

Also, how long is the barrel?

Thank you,
Michael

And can you make out anything stamped into the lockplate forward of the cock, and below the powder pan?

Sorry for the delay.  I had technical difficulties and learning issues with Windows 11.  Problem is now solved and I will send pics to those that have asked.  The barrel is 42.5" long.
