As I recall, a 310 Cadet is similar to a 32-20.

Yes very similar I'm using shortened and thined rim .32-20 cases to make the brass for the Austrailian cadet rifle I just got. But with a heavier bullet and a smaller case capacity I was wondering if there are other choices for a powder especially with the availability of unique right now.

2.8 bullseye
Fast/medium pistol powders if you can get any.
I don’t go for broke on velocity.
A slower pill kills paper just fine and wins matches.
Soft lead and soft lube works for my couple of cadets anyway

Thanks for all your suggestions. I'm using unique now but I always want to have a plan B just in case.

I have a 32-20 pistol that I like to shoot, and the load I've been using is 3½ grains of W231 with a 115 grain Ideal 3118 cast bullet, I've also used 4 grains of Winchester WSF, which might be more suitable for a rifle. WSF is similar to Unique.
