12 gauge full bore slugs

Is anyone here shooting 12 gauge full bore slugs/bullets ?  A full bore 12 gauge bullet is going to run at about .725" to .730" diameter.
I am about to order a mold but before I do would like to hear from anyone else doing this.

I have a 12 bore double rifle, but the groove diameter is a little over .750, so takes special (ad hoc) ammo.  It actually shoots pretty fair with about anything I stick in it, tho.

TOM:

Yes, indeed!   Do you have some elephants that need cropped?   Actually, it’s a Blanch double deer rifle from ca 1850, originally a pinfire, expertly converted to CF.   It's a hoot to shoot at cans floating down the creek.  Since the bore is 12 ga, and the rifling cut into that, the groove diameter is around .750. So it’s technically about 11 bore. It shoots 600 gr RB and 700 gr slugs, and they both shoot to the sights with 3 dr FFg or so. The sights are marked for 50-300 yd, tho I have only shot it to 200.  Weighs. only 9#, so is pleasant to plink with.  And cheap to shoot, compared to other British double rifles.   Instead of $5 @ for cartridge cases, you can pick up a sack-full of empties at the skeet range.  It’s been a fun toy.

Here's a concept.  This is 20ga.  Fired in a fully rifled 20ga H&R.  It measured new right at 0.625 OD.  Which is exactly what the 20ga groove diameter measured at.  What is it?  1/2" pvc pipe/tubing.
