Well, I always called it a Schoyen, but apparently it is a Peterson I have attached pictures of my original, and a set of castings of David’s, and a picture out of Tom Rowe‘s reloading book for comparison.

BINGO!!  That picture of a body casting answers the question.  Since it’s an unfinished casting, I would posit that it came from a time late in Peterson’s career, after the time Schoyen would have been involved.  In my mind at least, the mystery is solved.  Thank you very much for that picture, RDB.

You're most welcome Froggie,
There is actually a short shaky video on YouTube about the A W Peterson gunshop in Florida. In the early part you can see these castings. I read somewhere that due to Schoyen and Peterson working together in the same shop it's pretty much impossible to know who did what and we should probably refer to products as Schoyen / Peterson instead of trying to differentiate.
