Looking for an original Stevens 44 1/2 rimfire hammer for a 22 rifle (not a CPA Stevens).

Glenn - 2x CPA 44 1/2 w/22LR (Shilen ratchet-rifled & Bartlein 5R rifled), 38-40RH & 38-55WCF (Bartlein 5R rifled) & 40-65WCF (GrnMtn 'X') barrels

What’s the difference between the two?
I can’t tell by looking at assembled rifles?

Per CPA: A standard feature is rifles a special lightweight hammer with lower nose for cleaning rod and cartridge clearance. This hammer reduces lock time by about 40%.

As far as I know there's no difference in the original hammers for a Stevens 44 1/2 rimfire or center fire. At least I've never seen or heard of a difference.???

That’s what I was thinking. Swapping out a Stevens is the same as CPA.  BLock, extractor and barrel to change cartridges. Never changed a hammer. Maybe a firing pin to go from round to Chisel point, but that stays with the block.

Maybe if someone bobbed a hammer for cartridge clearance like COA does. I know I tried a CPA hammer in a Stevens and it missed the firing pin.
