Shuetzen owned and shot by Gary Staup still has the stickers 1993, 1994 and 1995. Love the front sight with crosshairs.

Very nice,   Can we get a closeup of the action?

Wire crosshairs? A friend of mine and I shot in the Delta Force sniper competition on ft. Bragg in 1991. To prove a point about using iron sights we both put them on our guns in lieu of a scope for everything 400m and under. We cut up some old inserts for the Redfield front sights and then soldered wire crosshairs on them. Worked pretty well although we weren't very competitive...

If your rifle is not in 7.62 and you can't hit what you are aiming at with de-linked machinegun ammo you are a pretender.

Close up would be nice, I don’t see the offset tang sight base common on most Buchel schuetzen rifles, but the photo background makes it difficult to tell if it is there.

Thanks for the photos, I really like the offset tang sight base. The bore can be wiped without removing the sight. I think Gary and I were the only guys shooting German rifles at the Grand American Schutzenfest in 1994. I shot a System Frohn.

Would you post a photo of the offset tang sight so I can see how it is attached and where the actual sight peep is in relation to the bore. I've never seen one before and I'd like to know more about it.
Thanks

I remember this rifle, Gary and I shot beside each other several times at Etna Green. I have a barreled action Buchel-been looking for a buttstock for 10 years, no one seems to have a pattern. As I recall the sights for the Buchel are also hard to find. Ledball
