Does this look like an original rifle?

If your rifle is not in 7.62 and you can't hit what you are aiming at with de-linked machinegun ammo you are a pretender.

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

Tough to say since there are so few Type 2 Whitney Rolling Blocks in Deluxe configuration to compare it to? It does look like it's been in this configuration for a very long time, and not something reworked in recent years. But if it's been overseas for decades there's really no way to know for sure without disassembling the gun to look for serial numbers stamped in the wood that might confirm the stocks are factory.

Basically two days left for the sale.

I believe the owner is the Mayor of Lahntal. You could just call him and ask about shipping it to you. Send me a PM and I can help find a number for him.
