This is an excellent price for a HighWall in excellent condition with new parts and very high value wood in a caliber desired by Schuetzen shooters as well.

The MVA action alone costs $1,250 to purchase today.

I am surpirsed no one has picked it up for their Christmas present.

The action is an original Winchester with a new MVA breech block.

someone needs to buy themself a Xmas present. A fantastic rifle in a great caliber at A VERY good price. If I didn't already have 6 rifles in 32-40 I would be all over this.

How heavy of a bullet will the 1-15 stabilize? What sort of accuracy
have you achieved?

watchthewind  It is the length of the bullet as well as weight and other factors that determine stability of the bullet given a certain twist. You might check with frnkeore (sp) he should be able to help you out with your question.

32-40 in a 1:15 twist should stabilize a bullet up to about 200 gr.
at about 1400 fps.
