Ken. I use my tapered bullets  for fixed. Just crimp in the base band and shove em in and feel them engrave the lands. Do the same on my German gun. I've gotten some good 5 shot 1/2"-5/8"  C/C  groups at 100 yds.

13.5   4227  200gr  for the 8.5x56  and  A 205 gr same load for the 32-40. 40-1 for German .  30-1  for 32-40. Mostly trying my different bullets the German A Werner Wolf mold. The 205 being the Moss.  I sold the 32-40 with all the load data,he wanted a fixed load so that was what he got,i played the afternoon twicking it. Pete......Those were my best groups  average 2" @ 200 yds
