I would think that took a lot of work to convert that rifle to under lever. Nice rifle though...

Actually very little work to convert it. They simply used the original lever location, and reworked the shape and length to make it wrap under the action. 
All this conversion does is give the Hepburn a little more leverage, but doesn't change anything really. In fact it makes the Hepburn lose the one thing Louis Hepburn was trying to accomplish, and that's being able to open the action without moving the position of the rifle or shooter. His side lever accomplished that pretty nicely, and it's lost with a long underlever setup.
