Thanks to Kurt for the parts ID.  They showed up today and function perfectly. I just need to get the right sized spring.  shown here with a RCBS shell holder in place.
Makes this a bit more handy !

That is the beast.  The large collar on the depriming stem puts a slight crimp in the case mouth.  Not what I would want it to do for breech seating.  Just the opposite, a slight flare would be more appropriate.  I haven't tried removing the stem yet.  The jury is out as to whether I will keep it.  Decapping is a bit awkward since you have to pull the handle out instead of squeezing it.

Thanks George

You are the first person I have known to own one.  I wondered how they would work.

How could I have gone this long without ever seeing or hearing of this thing?  Undecided I wonder when it was in production.  Huh

Froggie,
You have heard of this before!  I did a Google search for Consolidated Armslube and came across a thread that included posts by you cast boolits where it was mentioned.  It is supposed to be mentioned in the first edition of Amber’s Handloaders Digest.

That’s the great thing about Half Timer’s Syndrome… you only remember stuff about half of the time, so I learn something new every day… even if I knew it yesterday!  Cheesy
I guess I’ll have to dig out my old HL Digest.

So this must be a rare and valuable older loading tool easily worth double what I paid for it to the right collector right?
Now to find someone who REALLY wants this.

I guess I won't modify it like I planned.

If I see a pig fly by, I will rush out and buy a batch of lottery tickets and maybe some survival food!
