.50-70, .50-90, .56-.50 Starline UPDATE

I sent a request to Starline today for information regarding the probable backorder status on the .50 caliber family of brass cartridge cases. I received a very prompt response, but the  news, sadly, isn't very encouraging.

John,
When 2020 hit and we went from caught up with a 95% in-stock rate to over 4 years backlogged,  backorders dictate what we run now.  Many of these slower sellers we have not run in a few years due to the backlog on popular calibers.

Unfortunately, even though we are catching up finally,  the slower sellers like the 50-70 and 50-90 are still going to be a bit before we can get to them; it is not likely it will happen in 2024.  The line they run on is still one of our busiest and we have a lot of backlog to get through on it before we can get to these.

Sorry for the shortages, we don't like these problems anymore than you do.  We won't let up until the backlog is cleared however.

Thank you,

Sherry

Hmmmm, I can get 50-70 and 50-90 here right now quite easily but maybe I need to take an inventory and stock up. Wink

Sorry for overlooking this thread.....

Let me see how much he has, perhaps it would be worthwhile for a big order. A 10kg box costs $55 to the US.

He has 250 50-70 and 120 50-90. I am waiting on a price for all of it together.

So, the price is 910 Euro or about $980 for the 400 brass.

If someone is interested send me a pm and I will send screen shots of the emails between he and I.
