??? Are you looking for one? Is this for info or for sale? Your post is lacking information.

This is certainly a long shot. I can't imagine anyone with one that is working getting rid of it. Probably your best bet would be to have someone make one but there are few who know what one looks like or how it works. Your rifle must be cut for it also. They don't fit any old '73, but only those modified for it.

^^^ This ^^^ Some folks who wanted to shoot 22 LR in a Maynard used these, others used specially chambered barrels with off center bores to enable hitting the rim with a centerfire pin.  I’m told Harry Pope made some(?) of these and I even have one made in recent years by a talented gunsmith in Stephens City, VA.  I don’t think he makes them any more though.  Cry

Thanks.
Over one year ago I visited the gunsmith in Stevens City. He had three such barrels to be worked on. One for him, one for a customer who made a deposit and the third I could have. I said I’ll take it. Just let me know when it’s finished. Well I never heard from him, he doesn’t make outgoing calls. So every three months or so I’d call. Usually got the answering machine, leave a message but no call. Finally after one year plus I got him on the phone. How are we doing. Oh, I have this and that and this and that. He told me again that he had three barrels, one for hi, one for the customer who made a DEPOSIT 2-3 YEARS AGO.. does that mean I may have to wait another 2-3 years? Yup. Bye bye.
