22 cal - alloy for accuracy

I'm loading for 22 Hornet, 22-KHornet, 221, 223.  Don't need expansion nor high velocities, looking for accuracy.  I have one pot for 1:20 and another for a ww/lead/tin mix.  Considering a 3rd pot for linotype.
.
SO, recommendations for a place to start.

Depends on velocity and whether it's gas checked or not. Hornets for plain base plinkers at .22LR velocity I use 1:20 or 1:30. 1600-2000fps with GC's I use 1:10 or WW's+tin. Casting/sizing to throat diameter is pretty critical. Just what I do.

One option to consider is powder coating the bullets.  I’ve had good luck with garbage range scrap lead bullets that I’ve powder coated and then sized to the appropriate size for the bore.  No leading because of the powder coat and good bore seal from proper sizing.  I just put a teaspoon or so of the powder coating powder in a plastic container with about 50 cast bullets.  Then shake them around, take them out, and put them in an old toaster oven to cure the powder coating.  After that I size, load, and shoot.  Almost all of my .22 and .30 caliber rifles and single shot pistols that I used the fret about shooting cast bullets are now getting powder coat jackets.

I load for my 1893 Marlin in .25-36 M cartridge. My bullets I cast are 115 grain and I cast them hard at 1:14 mix. Load them to around 1800 fps with no gas checks and they shoot well and don't lead my bore. I've used these loads out to 500 yd. dingers and very accurate.
I'd go gas checked and softer 1:20 if I was using the loads for hunting.

I had a supply of linotype and used it for my K-Hornet just because I had no other use for it. Worked fine.

Linotype has a Brinell hardness of around 22, and mixed 50/50 with pure lead makes good hunting bullets at Brinell 11 hardness.
