Has anyone experienced any difference between RCBS and Redding sizing dies..(except for cost!) as far as excerss sizing of brass?  I know these mfg. set their dies up for jacketed but does one brand tend to size smaller?  Thanks.

I felt that my Redding dies sized the necks of my cases more than necessary. I sent a set back to the factory but they came back with a .note that they were in spec. They seemed to overwork the brass.

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

I only full length size my brass when I first get new brass, so it's never been an issue with any brand of dies. And even new brass I don't size if I check it and it drops in the chamber easily.
I also don't put much neck tension on my crimp to avoid working the case mouths too much.
