imgbb.com

you can use free account; select and upload photos, use option for bb fully linked for file type; and copy the links.

They past perfectly into the board here in the text, not as an attachment and are always clear and perfectly sized.

I think I posted instructions in the sticky at the top of the for sale page also on how to do this.

email them to yourself and save the emailed version to your photos file.  emailing usually resizes them or give you the option to resize.  Then you can load directly from the file to the new post.  This works well on my ipad.

It is easier on a Mac than an iPad.  I use preview which is a built in Apple app. You can crop, adjust color and brightness, add text and lines or other objects. Then resize as needed. I usually change resolution to 144 dpi from 72 and resize to 4-8 inches wide depending on the subject.  Full rifle shots get the 8” size.
