I've never seen a 240 gr. .457" bullet before? Do they make such a thing? Sounds more like a .45 handgun bullet that's .452"?

Ideal Handbook #15 “403169 this is the standard Winchester bullet for the following cartridges: 40-65-260, 40-82-260, 40-110-260. 
I also have the 403172 which is 285. “This is the old 40-285 Sharp’s , Ballard, and Remington; an old-time popular bullet.”
The 403169 I use in several 40’s and it works fine. I’m going to cast the 403172 and give it a go.
