Ashton, Md 20861.
Just outside of DC.
I didn’t post pictures. New to the site and still learning how to work it.
If you give me an email it’s easier and happy to do it.
Thanks

One of the best ways to determine a price is to look at auctions where a very similiar item has actually sold.   On GunBroker you can do an "advanced" search by listing your search item in the "completed listings."   Go through them looking for ones that actually sold and you will get a good idea of the market price.

OH MY GOSH!!!   I have the same rifle as you just described and the serial numbers are only 3 numbers apart.  What is the chance.  BTW, mine is a fantastic shooter.

My chamber is on the large size and the 45-70 Winchester converted case holds 55 grains of dropped tube slightly compressed 2f Goex. A cereal box over powder wad and a 400-410 bullet with SPG lube.  My bore is about a 9.5 on a scale of 10 and the bullets are sized .412.  No witchcraft in my loads just a basic load.  Every rifle is different so your may not like my load but mine does like long heavy bullets.

Thanks. I have used 50 grain goex 2F, cotton since it's a bottle neck and the wad just falls in when it’s in further in and an ideal.403169.  That load kicks like a mule.
Recently I used same cotton, ideal Bullet and 21 gr 4198.

How does it shoot with the light 240 grain bullet?

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

I've never seen a 240 gr. .457" bullet before? Do they make such a thing? Sounds more like a .45 handgun bullet that's .452"?
