With 22 jacketed bullets I seat them anywhere from zero to twenty thou off the lands whichever shoots the best.
Bought a new to me custom made single shot in 22/250 with a one in nine twist and threaded the case to accept my comparator which a toolmaker friend made years ago before they became commercially available and found even with a 80 grain bullet so much bullet jump.
