25-36 Repeater

Not a Singleshot I know but thought I’d check with our eclectic group here.

I thought to restore an old Marlin 1893 in 25-36, including a new Green Mountain barrel.   Finding a reamer for Pat at C-Sharps to use has become the rub.   If anyone has or knows of anyone who might have one they’d rent out to me for use by C-Sharps, I’d be obliged.   I’m not too keen on having one made, although I might, but would just as likely resort to a 25-35 if I fail to locate one.

Let me know.   We’ve already checked with John King, Russ Gent, John Taylor, etc.

Thanks, John

Best Regards,
John

Good luck. Having the same problem finding a 38-50 Rem or 40-72 Win. Probably going to have one ground. It just takes a long time to get one ground.

JMH, have you decided who you’ll use.   Manson did my last (and only) two before he retired.

Price is about 50% higher from what I recall and wait is 4-6 months.

Not enough difference in the 25-35 and 25-36 for me to wait that long or pay that much.   Brass way easier to find but I’d still probably go with the 36 if I could find the reamer.

Best Regards,
John
