Büchel Meister

Büchels are my favorite Feuerstutzen.  The flat front trigger and the offset rear sight (which allows for both breech seating and proper cleaning) are some of the reasons. My 2 others are much earlier, and this one has a barrel date of 1935. That's the latest I've seen so far.

Love it, my Meister is 1928, not nearly as nice as yours. I have 2 System Concurrenz by Buchel, both have the offset rear sight.

I once had an Original System Buchel but as far as I'm concerned the Meister is the best of the Buchels. I believe that it is More Single Shot Rifles that has reprints of some pages from the Buchel catalog.

Here's my other Büchel rifles. A 1928-dated Meister, and a 1918-dated Luna Meister that I scoped.

My Luna, and one Concurrenz, the other looks much the same but no fluted barrel.

My latest addition is a System Marrkolbe, I have been under the weather, so haven’t taken it to the range yet. Tang sight is a modern repo.
