Looks like the rust bluing was interrupted in mid-pass.  Still, you have to admire the ambition and industry it took.  Anything written under the buttplate?

The barrel lock up mechanism is quite unique also.

I've come across some "home Made" NO MODEL/SERIAL #, and have passed them up. this makes me rethink those, interesting in its own right and most likely one of a kind.

JHM, I doubt those are set triggers. Rather they may be dual triggers for when one don't work the other one might. My childhood friends and I created some guns to play wlth- at least as skillful and advanced as the one here. Then we discovered girls.

My experience with them was "only on Sunday"

This looks like a whole new field of collecting. Makes me think of the double barrel shotgun barrels my grandfather drove into the ground to tie a goat to....
