You guys shooting browning 30” bpcr 40-65’s..
I haven’t fired mine yet. Came with a bunch of ammo
As the previous shooter was actively shooting before he died. I did get a couple loads he was using and 70 rds ready to go.
They are 410gr snover over 61gr of 2f. Any rough guesses on where to start for elevation ? I never asked and he didn’t say.

well, if he's dead like you say, I hope you don't need to get the info from him personally. you won't need it then, any more than he does.

I have one and it’s a tack driver with BACO bullet 410410m3 bullet drops with 20-1 at 406 grains.
I get 67 grains of 1.5 Swiss with .060 wad and .300 of compression
Sight setting will probably be a little different for u but hears mine
200, 25
300, 38
400, 49
500 , 60
600, 85
Good luck , nice rifles. I also had lee shaver do a trigger job, much
Better.

This load has .070 compression as well. Forgot to add. At least this gets me in the relative ballpark.

When I got my Browning it came with two moulds, a Snover and a Schmitzer. The Schmitzer was very accurate to 200 but could do funny things past that. The Snover produced some very low SDs with 52.5 grains of Swiss 2 and 1182 fps but in the end I switched to the NASA II bullet from Old West. 54 grains of Swiss 1 1/2 has given me 10-shot sub MOA groups at 300 meters. My sight settings with the Browning sights were 29 1/4, 42, 56 1/2, and 75 1/2. As my eyes aged I switched to a scope.
