Custom 40-65 Rolling Block

Unknown maker. No.5 Military action. Milled round top to octagon. Lower tang converted to pistol grip. 30" full octagon barrel. #4 weight. Checkered pistol grip and wrap-a-round checkering on forearm.MVA mid range and Lee Shaver front globe. Thanks to Vall, am getting to really like these Rolling Blocks although my first love are 1885's !!!  Dale.

A great rifle Dale! Very classy looking. There's nothing wrong with having a couple of Rolling Block rifles. Wink

I still love my Ballard rifles Dale, but Rolling Blocks are quickly catching up around here!
That's a beautifully executed Rolling Block in a great cartridge!
