	That is probably why I bought it. Wes Turner says I have a talent for acquiring ugly stuff. Wes, you have that right. Just wait until I put it on a rifle. It does have the provision for a through bolt.

	No you do not need a flat bottom to shoot straight. I prefer a "Perch" belly. Fortunately enough wood you could make a "Perch" belly and it would be more aesthetically pleasing.

	I was more interested in the through bolt. Like Dave said, plenty of wood to reshape it. It looks to be ready for a widow’ peak butt plate which I have. I was prepared to bid higher. I did pass on a couple of Jojodo’s other items. He always had the best stuff. Jack

	I think you should stick a phone charging plug in that knot hole and connect it to your earplugs. tell 'em all that it's a new system being developed for fine tuning. Hold on, I gotta go look and see if my rifle has a knot in its stock....................
