Picked this up but have no idea what it is. It has a re-priming station and has two 7/8-14 holes on top. But it only has straight holes in the platen where you would expect shell holder features.

Teaser: what is unusual about the Bridgeport?

Thank you,
Charles

It's a C&H type loading tool.

The 1/2" holes on the bottom, take a shell holder that has a shank that size and a 1/2 x 20 threads, a nut holds it in place.

You can get (on Ebay) individual shell holder or a universal, that takes RCBS holders.

They are excellent presses to take to the range and clamp to the bench. Adjust your loads and OAL, right there.

The Bridgeport mill still has It’s fine feed wheel. Most of them are missing. Also, I just noticed it’s metric

Rodney wins, I did not even know they made Metric nor till I got it home. In the process of adding a 3-axis DRO since the lead screws are metric.

And thanks  frnkeore for the ID.

The press was in a online local machinery auction after all fees came to $31 as a lark.

Agree.  Have one myself, bought at an auction many years ago.

I have one of the Herter's and another one likely home made.

I have, for more years (30+)that I recall, used a RCBS Partner press that I mounted  on a 1/2 inch of alumunum for just that purpose. Range use.Compact, lightweight but strong, and as I recall, reasonably priced. But, like everything else today, probably at least twice what I paid for it. Useful also for odd jobs in the loading room. Bullet seating in particular.

Just checked at Midway. Over twice what I recall at $126.99 now. Might roundup a used one for considerably less. Really a nifty little press.

I tink it might be an Eastman press.  I had one and if memory is good it looked  the same.I don't remember that it had bronze bushings so maybe yours is a toolroom job.
