I was just noting that the amount of 'stickies' on some pages is in excess of the remaining available lines for current discussions. Yeah, one section has thirteen of 'em and a dozen currentl ones. Some of the things haven't been addressed since five years ago. Is it possible to deal with 'em another way? Even putting them at the bottom, rather than the top of a page would be a little help. Better, weed out the things after a period of disuse. Please............. Pat

One section has 13 stickies and 12 board topics.
I'm assuming stickies means important topics. I never read the stickies. After looking at some of them, they don't seem so important to me. What is a sticky for?

And, who gets to decide what becomes a sticky in the first place? As stated above, some don't seem pertinent. Not like a listing of Harry Pope telephone numbers or important stuff such as that.
Joe, do you think many read this section either?

I don't know what others do but I don't. Someone posted a while back asking for RKS contact info. I found it in a sticky. Once in a while I read them. I just posted in the lube sticky so I guess I do. No difference between a regular topic and a sticky. If a sticky is supposed to be for information only it would not be allowed to carry on a thread with posts. From now on I'll treat them as regular topics.
