	I mailed a mould (or was it a mold?) to Poorhouse yesterday and talked with the young lady at my local post office about this thread. She said one of her regulars is a FFL holder and manufacturer so she has extensively researched the regulations which she admitted were confusing in some cases. Jack

	I reviewed the American regulations for shipment of brass and bullets across the Canada/USA border. Cannot do it internationally without export and import permits. However no problem to ship nuclear detonators.

I got the dozen nuclear detonators I had in my shopping cart included in the care package I got from Huntington's over the weekend. I guess I got the last ones. Sorry. If you need a couple I can spare them, but it'll cost you a couple cans of Bush's baked beans- a different kind of "detonator".

	I'm curious if #14 is correct? A couple years ago I sent a barreled action of a Remington Rolling Block, using USPS, from Minnesta to Michigan for color case finishing and a trigger job. I told the clerk it was a rifle for repairs. Same story when sending my CSA Model 74 back to the factory for a new barrel, using USPS. No FFL machinations. Maybe I just got lucky? Tom

Tom I would guess his statement is correct, since it happened to him. But it is incorrect for that to happen, as sending to an FFL does not require the sender to meet the requirements he mentioned the shipper asking for. As for your Rolling Block, unless it was a post 1898 barreled action it wouldn't be a "firearm" as that terminology applies to 1899 and later firearms. Unless yours was a new copy or smokeless action made after 1898?

	I own only one Rolling Block. I was told it is a numer 5. Made in 1906-1910? After removing the butt stock, I saw two sets of numbers...4761....and...55. These don't really look like serial numbers. Someone told me these rifles don't always have a serial number. So actual age is a mystery to me. Tom

	If it has a rotary extractor its certainly from after 1902. John
