I have one of his moulds, and other than being aware of him, would like to know more about the man. If anyone here can help in this regard I would greatly appreciate it.   Krag

I still have some but also moved on to others over time. They were a bit small but the brass sure cast some nice bullets. Lived in Maine. Rifle or Handloader did a nice article on him fifty or so years ago. I have to go thru back issues and find it.

Thanks very much Tom
I will have to see if I can unearth the article that you make reference to. I have donated all but the earliest of both Rifle and handloader, so hope that pure luck will prevail. I will certainly let you know.   Krag

Krag, I found two I kept.  July -August 1971.  March-April 1972. Both articles titled making bullet molds. probably more in that time frame but I did not keep them or they went in some shelf clean out.
As an add he retired at one point and sold the business to a gunsmith in New Hampshire. He made molds on Beverage cherries for a short time and then? Couple of us are still waiting delivery!Oh my friend died waiting.
He then took the business back and we lost track of him after that . I will PM you the name but not post it here. Hope this helps.

here is the Handloader Magazine article.
I have one of his molds(somewhere) and they are very small as mentioned above.

the other article (I can't find) is about fitting bullets to schuetzen rifles.

Cbashooter   Thanks for digging up those articles in Handloader. Would you, after your tireless effort, mind telling me which issues you found them in. The mould I have is also quite small, although being made of brass is not such a bad thing. I have another mould made of brass which is single cavity, yet in what I am sure is at least a two cavity block, I need a wheel barrow to lug it around at the end of a casting session.
I have some of the earlier rifle and handloader that I kept when I decided to divest myself of the rest. Tom Trevor mentioned  an article(above)possibly the same you show, but I did not have those magazines. If they are the same, please disregard my plea, and thanks for posting them, and again for your effort.  Krag

Cbashooter  thank you for waking me up to the fact that I have that book of collected articles from Handloader. Going back over 40+ years it took your reference to awaken me. I am sure that I read many or most of his writing in either Handloader or Rifle. Foggy at best on details. Having now reread them, he was very knowledgeable, and his writings about mould making were more than worthwhile. Tom Trevor mentioned an article, possibly a short biography, about the man himself, which is what I was primarily interested in. I will keep digging, and I want to thank all for your contributions.

Thank you CBAS,

I bought this mold some years ago, and it came with a tag marked "H. Beverage." Now, I know it really is a Beverage mold!
