All the action marks are for an Australian .310 cadet issued to New South Wales civil defence force with serial no. and rack no. Civil defence force stamps on the stock. Barrel appears to be off a wider action.

The B U G with crowns are standard German view and proof. There's no N so not nitro proofed. The 172.28 is a bore gauge and would be correct for an 8.15x46R. The 6.05 is the date of proof June 1905. The 868 is the entry number in the proof house log. The 2545 is the serial number. The G. K. I'm not sure of but the crown above it looks like the Suhl Proof House mark. Again there is no crown N so not nitro proofed and there is no crown R so not a repair or rebarrel.
