In support of my reputation for knowing a little something about everything but not a lot about anything, a small HUH? for your consideration. Today I received a box of Sierra 130-gr. .284 Spitzer soft point Pro-Hunter bullets from an auction, dated Feb. 1997,UNOPENED. To me they are obviously rifle bullets, but...on one end the box is emblazoned " SINGLE SHOT PISTOL 7250" and on top "100 PISTOL BULLETS". Comments?

Those are designed to expand at lower velocity from pistols like a Remington XP-100 in 7 BR.
I used to use them for deer hunting .

One of my closest friends used that bullet in a Contender to take a pretty nice elk in Montana. One shot with it from the 7TCU thru Lyman sights and done. When he said he was gonna do it, I told him the whole caliber/bullet weight thing was preposterous. Wadda I know? Huh

They may not perform on Deer at Rifle velocities.
Depending on what you paid for these, I would think there are T/C Contender shooters who would pay good money
for these bullets.
Also, Remington 7mm RB's bore diameter is .287-.290"
using .292" bullets
Sell them and buy some 7mm Rifle bullets.
