The price for a quart bottle was just a bit less than half the price for the gallon, so figured if I use more than a quart it's cheaper to just buy the gallon.

	ShootzenDave, Why do you add the oil? I've been using just the -40 antifreeze. Will I get better results adding the oil? Like where you live, things freezing is my problem.

	The oil prevents corrosion of your action and barrel. Yes the windsheild washer fluid contains alcohol or methanol which are fabulous for dissoloving and cleaning of fouling. However the cutting oil provides a film coating that prevents corrosion occurring to your firearm - even if stored with fouling still inside or if exposed to high humidity in storage or exposed to moisture. This Moose Milk is designed not only for rifle cleaning but for storage and maintenance of your firearm.

	I worked in a machine shop for years and used a machine coolant named Trim-Sol from Master Chemical right out of the machines. It is blue in color and some called it Blue Moose Milk. We later changed to the full synthetic version named E-206. The synthetic version is more stable over a longer time. I bought a gallon of the concentrate from an industrial supply house, MSC or McMaster Carr, I don't remember which. It will last the rest of my life. I mix it 20:1 or 5%. I use it for wiping patches and cleaning fluid and I have never had any after rust in any of my bores.
