	I use Hodgdon Lube. Hodgdon quit making it 35 years ago. It is lanolin based. Lighter than Imperial. It wipes off easily. I used to buy from Hodgdon when they ran a wholesale operation and sold everything. Jim Carmichael of Outdoor Life put me on to it. I bought every bottle Hodgdon had in stock. It is good stuff.

Long ago I saw a formula for homemade spray lube using lanolin, and gasoline antifreeze Heet. I got the components and mixed up a spray bottle of it. It didn't work worth a darn, so the lanolin and Heet are still sitting around here. Plus the original spray bottle mix that got barely used. Might as well have sprayed the cases with water for as well as it worked.

	I find it hard to believe anyone whose got a reloading area that clean does much reloading. And likely no gunsmithing.

I could be mistaken (I often am, as we know) but I’m pretty sure that is a studio space set up mainly for his videos. While there is some stuff going on there, it is really just a clean place for him to film so that folks aren’t distracted by other equipment. I know that whenever I post pictures of my shop on forums or Facebook, a solid 25% of the responses are asking about stuff in the background, like my kayak, or wood lathes, etc. And I’m not even trying to do video presentations, just miscellaneous photos. I think his stuff is sort of like the videos that Consumer Reports does…..

	Recently I was having trouble doing some heavy case forming. Regular RCBS lube was too heavy, so I tried some AQUAPHOR and it really does it, heavy or light duty. Almost no dimpling when necking down and a simple wipe gets rid of it. Best of all, it's free- women use it for cracked skin, etc. Rescue a tube before it's in the trash and you'll have enough to last for years. No lube pad, no baggies, no mess.

My press and lubri -sizer are on opposite ends of the bench, drill press in the middle, lead pot on lower bench, and gunsmithing tools, files, etc. scattered in between. It's messy, but I can find something instantly. Well, most of the time. When it gets too crowded, I'll just get another bench!

Depends on what project I have going on as to whether I can find much on my reloading/gunsmithing bench! Right now it's fitting a stock to my rolling Block I converted to a pistol grip lower tang, so it's piled with tools, and wood shavings, and dust. My bench has my lubrisizer on the left end, then RCBS press, powder measure, and then my barrel vise, and my large bench vise on the far end. So I try to keep all the tools to the right end as much as possible during a project, and don't reload until it's done and I can clean and organize.

	FWIW Royal case lube has about 1/2 the force required compared to Imperial, plus it simply wipes off with a microfiber cloth.
