Just to let my friends and customers know. I had a fire in my new shop Monday, so will be out of operation for a while. As we clean up, I will be posting stuff to sell on here. Thanks in advance for your condolences. No one was hurt, and I think the machinery will be salvageable. We will be taking it a day at a time. This is not something you’d wish on your worst enemy.

I’m glad that no one was hurt, but that really stinks.

That’s really terrible! They are are mess to clean up and see what can be salvaged. I’ve gone through two of them, about 15 years ago an employee set fire to one of our businesses to try and cover up a theft and another about 25 years ago when an air compressor froze and started a fire in our barn/shop combo. The barn and equipment was a total loss. I hope you can work through this.

A friend unknowingly left his lube pot on and it eventually caught on fire.
His fire proof gun safe was also out in the building and after the fire was put out. The damage to his firearms and scopes was not from the heat but from the smoke.
They rusted just about immediately there after and the actual damage was even hard to even imagine and that bad.

Chin up, and soldier on. Rooting for your recovery, and glad no one was injured.

I drove truck for most of my life.
I absolutely loved it and this fellow who I like to follow just lost everything.
It took him to build up his business and for 25 years of his own life.

Point being all though we might tend to think we that have just gone through our very worst.
There always seems to be someone who has actually gone through a worst personal experience themselves.
