	last time I won at my maximum, it was another member of this forum bidding against me, just one bid below mine. I win at less than my max regularly, but I lose even more times. Aaron

	Rebel- neat Ballard, enjoyed seeing it. re. auctions and a full 2 cents worth I have seen auction catalogs stating the house reserves the right to “implement the bid” …….. Consider an auction house having the need to protect a good piece to a reserve amount and seamlessly getting it done through house bidders. Three people bidding with one actual buyer and walking that buyer to the needed minimum. I think the secret is to bid what you are willing to pay for an item and if you prevail, consider it a purchase that you are pleased with. Saves the aggravation.
