For  number of years, there was an individual named Appleton who both imported these rifles from Britain and also purchased
spares/used parts from gunshops in the same country.

It is my understanding the Appleton business is sold and the inventory is now with another business.  Does anyone have contact information on the company that has replaced Appleton?

In it’s day Appletons shop was a sight to see. Not only complete BSA’s bins of parts and unopened crates of rifles. Never understood the volume until I worked in Australia & joined the local Smallbore rifle club. Safe full of BSA Martinis club owned. Most destroyed in the government buyback when Aussie rules changed. No doubt same thing happened in the UK.

Appleton saved many BSAs buying from British schools & clubs.
