Jess will do a .32-20 rebore, just call and ask. I have had him do two .32-20 rebores for me, one about a year ago for a Stevens 44 that I chambered for .32 S&W long.

You could also consider a rebore to .38 special for your #2 rolling block.

I thought of that, but the FUBAR'd chamber is way longer than .38 Special. No way to do it without setting the barrel back a lot. I don't want to do that.

Everything in in front of the shoulder of the 25-20 Will be a lot smaller than .345”.
You should have about .200” to spare if your measurements to the shoulder were reasonably close.

The 25-25 portion thats left will be well below.300”

Unless they did a 25-20 Ackley you should be fine.

Good point.  That does open up other possibilities - including .38WCF and .44WCF, which were original Remington chamberings in #2 rifles.

Do a casting and sit down with the SAAMI chamber drawings.
A 32-20 might even work, but I think it has more taper than the 25-20 and Is smaller where the 25-20 shoulder starts.

I think you have a lot of options.
You could always make a sleeve of sorts like your 25 rf charged with a 22 blank. Stick a 25-25 case in 25-20 shaped body. Cheesy

Or a 28-30 ran through a 25-20 die Cheesy Cheesy
