The rest of the report.

A very well attended match (the Cleave – O'Brien Gang showed up).  Weather was mild for the end of November, actually warm by noon.
The wind was light to medium and some of the scores reflected that.  We had two A W Peterson barreled rifles and one Pope on the line.
The Singer Pope Highwall hasn't been to the range for 18 years, and it was good to see son Don shooting it.

Jerry, what does your Mann target look like. Can you post a picture?

Three shots for score. Vertical isn't important, it's the horizontal that counts. Target is 22" by 34".

Sorry for the fuzzy photo.

Wow I remember shooting in the match when Jerry Cleave decided to retire his Pope Singer.
It is hard to believe that it has actually already been 18 years ago now.

That Mann target reminds me a of a guy I used to work with. He grew up in Wyoming and used to shoot with an old German guy when he was a kid. JD told me the old German always shot anything vertical, especially telephone poles or fence posts.  And so did JD. He told me about the old German when I asked him why he was shooting at telephone poles.

I'd like to try that target some time. Something different and maybe something fun. Most likely.

I'll bet I could talk Mike Otterberg into it.
Where do you get the Mann targets?
