I would concur with marlinguuy that Fecker used at least some Winchester A5 rings. I have an 8XX serial No. with those rings with the grasshopper spring, and have had two others the same. Somewhere I haven the patent drawings for his two mounts, and I think the were dated prior his move from Cleveland ca.1925. This from a demented mind, so not quotable.

Click on the link below for a much clearer image of the Baker patent for the Fecker mounts.

So you won't find a  fecker with Lyman rings

Based on my research I agree that Fecker used Winchester mounts until his (Baker's) design was available.  But keep in mind, since it's somewhat common to find mounts from the various scope suppliers sold separately don't be surprised to find Unertl, Lyman, and even the modern D.Z. Arms mounts, etc. on Fecker scopes.

If you go by patent dates starting in 1925. Fecker had filed a patent for their own rings similar to most common rings see today. I don't believe Lyman was in the scope business until 1929 with the purchase of Stevens scopes & later Winchester. Lyman filed the patent for it's mount in 1932. Unertl filed a patent for it's mount in 1940.

Lyman actually purchased the A5 scope and all it took to make it first, in 1928; the Stevens purchase did follow in 1929.

I stand corrected. Steven first bought Winchester then Stevens.

Usually Fecker scopes with mixed mounts I've seen were on later post Cleveland era scopes. Of course we see very few early Cleveland Fecker scopes these days as I think those who have them aren't letting them go too!

It has been my experience to see more Fecker mounts on other make scopes, rather than the opposite. Most likely that many consider them a superior mount. The possible exception being Unertl, as they were available longer than Fecker as replacements. Still, not what I have observed, but never kept count. This too may change, as very good mounts are now available from Steve Earle, DZ, MVA, and possibly others as noted.

In my limited experience, I have seen more Fecker mounts on early Unertls. I do not remember seeing anything but Lyman mounts on Lyman scopes. Early Lymans had four point mounts and the three point mounts came out in 1937. I looked today and my Lyman 3 point mount has the same Kuhn patent # as the four point. I posted the patents thinking that might offer a evolution process for mounts.  Fecker's (Baker patent) being 1925. Lyman's  (Kuhn patent ) being 1932 and Unertl's patent 1940.

New question: the Pope rib.  I have never seen a Winchester with the Pope rib. My Lyman 5A has Pope rib on the bottom, but I have seen Lyman5A without it.  I have never seen a Fecker, a Lyman Target Spot series or Unertl without it.

The only Unertl scopes without a rib that I am aware of were specifically ordered that way to be used on a unlimited benchrest rifle using mounts that held the scope solidly but with windage and elevation adjustment available using a Jewell pivoting front ring similar to the current Burris ring. I don't recall the fellows name that designed the rear ring, but Lee Six was the fellow who had them manufactured. The fact that Unertl would make a scope without a rib for a client and sell scopes without rings would lead me to assume others would do likewise. despite that, I doubt many did so. I understand that when Unertl left Fecker to build his own scopes, he used Fecker mounts until he would manufacture those of his own design, which would explain seeing a number of Unertl scopes with Fecker rings. The patent dates would indicate that as well.
