	We've had snow here for a couple weeks, here. Just finished installing chains on my pickup. I sure miss that old members map!!!!!!!

We escaped it here in central Minnesota but I just got back from deer hunting in the north country and they were supposed to get 8 to 12 yesterday.

	Finally this warm fall is over and I can go ice fishing tomorrow. Still had some open water last week. Warmed up to minus 17 this morning - my truck battery did not work well at minus 30 to minus 25 (she is getting a bit old). We start shoveling snow in October but we had to wait until November this year in Edmonton.

	We've gotten enough snow here that the ski resorts are opening up today. Anytime they open before Thanksgiving is a year that's got unusual early snowfall.

	Been seeing Wooly Catapillers, all Black, no Brown Middle Band. Neighbors say that's a sign of a Cold Winter.... Bring it on, got my Wood Stove installed and fired up. David

	A soggy 43 F, & drizzling rain here on the left coast behind the Redwood Curtain. We don't have to shovel rain.
