MVA = Quality

It seems my mantra the last couple of years has been "Cheap Chinese piece of s..t!" I buy a $50 shirt and have to sew the buttons back on it. I buy a $300 coat and have to replace the zipper in the first week. My wife bought a $250 vacuum that hasn't the power to suck up dust let alone dirt.( It is light and quiet though.) I tell my wife just don't buy the S..t. If you can not get American made, and mostly you can't, then just don't buy it. It won't work any way.

Last spring I was at a match in AZ. and won as a door prize a gift certificate from Montana Vintage Arms. I called them and ordered an adjustable aperture disk for a tang sight. In quick time I received it in the mail.
I opened the bubble wrap and inside was a nice white box with padding inside it, and a velveteen draw string bag with the MVA logo on it holding my new sight disk. It had MADE IN AMERICA all over it, and the PRIDE these people put in their product oozed out of every corner of it. I was so happy, I wanted to frame it.(But it does look better on my rifle.) How good it is to do business with proud Americans. Good job MVA.

I've never had a complaint about anything I bought from MVA. Great folks with equally great products!

My MVA 1885 action is a bank vault.  It is off to Wyoming Armory being fitted with a Krieger barrel and some gorgeous feather walnut.  Hope to have it by February for the new season.

I agee with there quality but I have a problem with there current busness practices. I ordered a #108 sight from them on oct 25 and was told it was in stock and would ship in a day or two its now nov 23 and they still haven't shipped the sight aparently it keeps getting moved from one desk to another for "inspection before shipping" it should have been inspected before it went on the inventory shelf.

I have one of their actions with a close couple trigger.  John King built it for me with a Ballard barrel I procured and English Walnut stocks from Treebone Carving.  Barrel is half round/Octagon with a wedding band.  Wonderful job by John and a beautiful rifle.

I didn't know that MVA made close coupled set trigger actions.  That's a nice option for sure.  I had an original 1885 with CC set triggers and I stupidly sold it.  That's one of the few rifles I've ever really regretted selling.

I agree that MVA == quality.  I'mhappy with every one of the many things I've bought from them.

No, MVA does not make the CC triggers, i purchased separately and had the rifle custom built with them.  Very nice setup.
