What is a reasonable (fair to buyer & seller) of a BSA International?

I'm a Cadet guy so not much help.  Here are some Martini rifles for sale on Gunbroker, including a Int'l.  Look pretty high to me, but if you check periodically you can get a pretty good idea of a price that sells (not "asked").  Good luck.

I see many BSA Martini Internationals for sale around $1,000 or more with the Parker Hale PH25 sights included.
They sell for more than the BSA Cadet actions.

BSA Martini are very nice guns. You need to learn about them so you get the right one. Mark III are very nice but heavy for off hand rifles. Mark IIs are made in two weights.Mark IV & V are setup for International shooting. The rear sights have several versions, PH25B (1/4Min), PH25C (1/4min), & PH25E(1/8Min). The front sights are PH-1 and different on the IV & V.

Yes, BSA Martinis are great (very accurate) rifles. My first single shot rifle was/is a MarkV. When I do my part and can figure out what the wind is doing, easily capable of 25 ring accuracy at 100 yards off the bench. The International models are very popular here at Ben Avery.  Good luck, Tom

IMO Internationals represent the pinnacle of single shot .22 accuracy. I snagged a 1950-vintage Mark I last year that was absolutely mint, PH-25 sight, with the prettiest wood I ever saw on one, in a convoluted trade that put me in it at around $800. I'm thinking it spent around 70 out of its first 71 years of life buried in a closet. It too will easily hold the 25-ring with good ammo. (I shoot it with a 20x Targetspot.)

Only real difference between a Mark I and Mark II is the trigger adjustment screws are only accessible from the inside, after dropping the action out of the receiver. Mark II trigger screws are accessible from the outside. Not a big deal, IMO, as once they're set up they tend to stay that way.

Well, the place that had the 44 1/2, had 1 International for $295, 1 for $325, 1 for $395, 3 for $425, 2 for $495, 2 for $525, 9 for $550, 1 for $575, and they still have 1 for $750. They were being snapped up like hotcakes today!
