Is Aydt engraving a portrait of original owner?

Hi, German fans. I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if it's reasonable to assume that this engraving on the receiver of my Haenel Original Aydt (Sys I) is likely a portrait of the man who commissioned the rifle build?

Do you suppose that the initials on his neck are the engraver's? That's a very nice Aydt.

I did post some pics of other parts of the rifle in my "Haenel Original Aydt early tests" post, but I'm still trying to figure all that out in terms of adding to posts, etc. Sorry for the double posts. I'm going to add what I have for pics to this post. She is indeed a beauty and has every appearance that she'll shoot well, too. I have a lot to learn, so I'll have more questions soon! I've looked for Tom Rowe on this forum hoping he could give an opinion on the portrait question. Anyone know what his forum handle is so I can PM him? Looks like 5 attachments may be the max? I'll try to add on 4-5 more after this.

Last pic turns out to be from a different one I was looking at. Still haven't figured out how to delete that one, so bear with me. Over the top compliments are more than welcome!

Aha! Forum help had instructions to delete the unwanted photo.
Done.

Nice engraving, westerner. The portrait on mine bears more than a passing resemblance to me, so that's fun. I've been looking for a hat and suit at Goodwill to match the old German, but no luck so far.

you have the great rifle, and that's important. to fit into the crowd you could go with a silly had bearing fox fur and feathers. Or..... you can learn to do this and nobody will care if you have a hat. Or whiskers.

Yes, them Germans can really kick it up at a shindig.

I have a couple hats and quite a few clothes but no lederhosen.  Being a Dutchman, the idea of wearing lederhosen seems a bit queersome. I just can't do it.
