	Just as a side note. I was at a gunshow over the weekend and there are lots of primers available priced at $95-$125 per 1K. There weren't many people interested at that price. Hopefully prices will come down if people won't buy at those prices.

	Back when I shot BPCR ,alot of us used LG Pistol Primers for BP. I still have my swage primer die the swaged the primer pocket for Pistol primers. Light primer strikes because it sits lower than large rifle primers.

	For what it’s worth. Hodgdon still recommends Remington 2 1/2 primers for the 32-40.

	I just bought a thousand CCI small rifle primers from Powder Valley for $95. 1000 was the limit. Between shipping and hazmat, paying even $125 at a gun show (assuming no sales tax) is starting to look not so bad. These are for an experiment with 32-40 cases formed from 30 American cases to use small rifle instead of large rifle. Jack

	I personally have had great success with Large Pistol primers but I have also chambered my barrel to use such. I have seen more than one breech block damaged due to the hammering effects because the large pistol primers are actually shorter in length. Lots of folks have never experienced this and I only wanted to bring it for your own sake. I have also using been using the Federal Gold Medal Match Large Pistol Magnum Primers up until the time that I stopped shooting and with outstanding success.

	Like J Lewis my go to primer has been the Federal Gold Medal GM155M LP primer, as I mentioned before I solved my iffy ignition problem by simply seating the primers through paper to set them out a little further which solved the problem "IN MY RIFLE". Mike.

	FWIW The dealer price on primers is up to $61(Fed 150LP) to 84.00(Fed 155 mag/match) per thousand You add shipping and hazmat, and the dealer will have up to close to $100 or more into his cost in the door. So, with a fair markup, I do not think it is overboard to charge $100 or more per thousand. or even more for a small dealer who is not able to buy larger quantities to help defray the cost per thousand for shipping and hazmat beltfed/arnie

Yeah, but just wait until there's an air shortage! lots of hot air in Maryland.. on a serious note quality European pellets can be hard to get when rimfire in in short supply.
