Anyone try this powder in their scheutzen rifles. Close burn rate to #9, 4100, H-108, etc.

I tried some in my 218 Bee Stevens 044 1/2 and immediately went back to IMR 4227 as just a small increase in charge jumped the pressures up in a hurry!  Tom

I'm a devotee of this powder in my Hornet, but my supply of 4227 is dwindling and the couple of jugs of it I own are calling to me to try in the .32-40's. Anybody here apply it to .32-40 breech seating?

I use it in 32-40 Ballard and 32-40 Krag breech seating.  About 12 grains in the 32-40 and 15 in the 32-40 Krag. Seems to have a lot of graphite. Don't remember ever getting lead in the bore when using LilGun. Usually a couple bucks cheaper per pound compared to other powders.

I preferred it in the Hornet and my .22 Lovells.  Also did real well in a .357 Maximum (12" barrelled Contender). It liked to be loaded to around 20kpsi or more.  Not a reduced-load powder in my view.

ymmv of course.
