I have a good friend who has a 44 Stevens 25-20 SS package . Rifle one box of loaded ammo dies extra cases. Rifle is in very good condition and untouched. What would be a good offer? We both want a fair price.

It makes a HUGE difference in value whether it's model 45, 54 or something in between.

There are indeed two Americas. Simply put, it is not the haves and have nots. The two Americans are in reality divided into those who do and those who don't.

I saw this and my gun in question is in about the same condition but has not been altered in any way. I may use this as a starting point and we will go from there... Thanks everyone.

The one in the ad has quite a bit of gunsmithing /parts dollars. Installed Liner $400(John Taylor current fair rate) ,brass mold and dies $200,Tang sight $125 ,case reciever $100.Reblued barrel $50.New screws and pins $40.
So the doner Action  barrel and wood  was free.
That was quite a good buy .
