He must no longer be in business.  If he was & has an FFL he does not go by that name.  I just searched the database of close to 80,000 FFL holders & nothing pops up.  BTW I searched for Nelms & Nelm.

But FWIW I did find several with the last name of Helms.

Pug Nelms was a retired shop teacher from Georgia. Build several Borchardt from my castings. When I first met him years ago he was coming to the Tulsa show to buy military Borchardts  to rebuild. He is or maybe was a very fine southern gentleman. He also built classic cars.

I also met Mr Nelms many years ago and I think he is still around. I could have bought one of his "kit" rifles but at the time like in many cases didn't have the money. A nicer person you will never meet. And yes he was a shop teacher for many years but boy could he build a beautiful rifle.
