Has just recently passed away at 93 and I have been in contact with Gail and what a Tremendous loss to everyone who has ever had the pleasure to talk to him.
My Prayers go out to his Family and Friends what an an amazing Individual and a Friend.
One would be real hard pressed to find such a Gentleman as him and he was also a True American Icon as far as I am concerned.

Paul will certainly be missed. We had some wonderful conversations. Our group is diminished by his passing.

I have two rifles that Paul did the metal & barrel work, both are tack drivers. He will be missed.

God's speed to you Paul.
I had the pleasure to meet him several times at his shop. If you wanted info on Stevens,he was your man.

A sad day indeed. One can hope that he and Shoyen, Pope, Darr, Dell, Schwartz, DeHaas, et al, are arguing the pros and cons of 44 1/2's as we speak.

Paul showed us that a small shop can be prosperous and turn out a quality product over a long period of time.
He will be missed and may he rest in peace.

There are indeed two Americas. Simply put, it is not the haves and have nots. The two Americans are in reality divided into those who do and those who don't.

I had several phone conversations with Paul, maybe thirty years ago, I thought he was such a gentleman on the phone, a few years ago I finally got to meet him  and he was a true gentleman. He has done more for the modern schuetzen game than any person I know.        What a loss.   Ledball

I am so sorry to hear.
I really enjoyed the support he provided for his products.
At Raton I asked him about a part (.22 extractor) for one of my CPAs.
I thought I would have to order it.
He reached into his pocket and handed it to me on the spot.
He was a great gentleman and we will miss discussing single shot rifles with him.
My condolences to Gail.

Sad news. I had one phone conversation with Paul. I asked if he had S springs for 44s. He said no. I said thanks and that was it, end of call.

Sad news indeed. The conversations I had with Paul were always enjoyable. They sometimes lasted longer than I had expected, but were always fun.

RIP Paul. We had many wonderful conversations. I had the pleasure of being shown his extensive collection of rifles during one of our conversations in CPA's shop. He will be missed!

My condolences to Gail and family.

Sad news. We are diminished. Condolences to the family.

I am fortunate to have a 44 1/2 that Paul barreled (at the very least) before his business really got going, but which there is no other information on according to Gail.
