Fire forming cases

I am making 32-40 Win out of 38-55 cases.  I have a few made and they are ready to fire form.
What type of powder charge should I be using?  Would 50% of a minimum charge work?

The case should be pretty close if die formed.
Standard schuetzen loads will be fine.

I have made 32-40 out of 32 Winchester Special. I ran it thru the 32-40 die and then loaded it with 10 gr. of 700x (shotgun powder) and the rest of the case filled with Cream Of Wheat topped with a foam wad. The cases worked fine.

Just flare the case mouth A little so it scratches going in chamber.That'll fireform it out.I like to anneal the case first,that will really make em fit the chamber and your done.14.0 gr 4227
